Wants to be noticed and be a part it feel and seems. Question is do you desire it to be?
If we go through the reasons to allow it to be a part of your life, I feel logic would tell us that it will not bring added value, just added pain and distress. So therefore as it tries to be a part, you must not let that happen and stay focused on all the beauty that is out there in your life. We all have so much beauty that we overlook, and let the pain body try to convince us of how horrible things are.
So do you need further bad things to happen in or order to see how much beauty and wonderful thigns really are in your life?
On days where I feel the pressance of the pain body, I try my best to refocus and turn what is a focus on pain to an affirmation of good.... yet the pain body does not want you to do this and will resist.. be aware what are the real reasons you are holding on to the pain? You do not need to, go find soemthign to be appreciative of, or stay in the now and appreciate what you have that you are overlookiing... please...
